Performance Focused Design. The A-Tek front mount intake takes a different turn from the turbo inlet. Instead of exposing it to the heat of the cylinder head and exhaust manifold, the inlet extends in the opposite direction, leading directly outside of the engine bay and out behind the front grille of the car. This intake path is not only shorter, resulting in increased throttle response and noise, but it avoids possible sources of heat soak. This therefore significantly decreases intake air temperatures. During testing, we experienced an average IAT of 10 degrees above ambient temperature. In 30 degree summer weather, average IAT of 40 degrees was recorded. Not only is this excellent for engine performance & efficiency but safer for tuned engines as it decreases the risk of pre ignition. The air filtration system also helps increase performance. This kit incudes a full size (3inch) Oiled performance cone air filter, that reduces restriction and lets the engine breathe cold air much more freely. This filter is fully serviceable, and its oiled design makes this front mount kit rain safe.

OEM like install and fitment. This Intake kit was carefully designed to be a direct bolt on solution, requiring no modification to the engine bay. All required hoses, sensors and wires directly bolt or clip on. The kit features 2 hose adapters that retain the clip-on style of engine hose fittings, making install and serviceability OEM like. All required clamps and hoses are included in the kit. Installation is very easy, only 30 minutes!
NOTE: The engine cover is still compatible with this kit.
